Spain's largest city boasts excellent restaurants, a charming historic city center and some of the world's best museums. Furthermore, Madrid is arguably the city in Spain with most energy and joy. Just outside the city itself, you will find excellent wineries and within a short distance you have marvelous cities like Toledo, Segovia and Ávila. Put simply, Madrid is one of Europe's most exciting capitals.
On our incentive trip to Madrid you will stay at a fantastic boutique hotel close to the Retiro Park (Parque El Retiro), experience several of Madrid's very best sights, enjoy some excellent restaurants on a private tapas tour and visit a winery and historic Toledo south of Madrid.
Upon arrival to Madrid's airport, you will be picked up by a comfortable minivan or coach (depending on the size of your corporate group) and taken straight to a fantastic boutique hotel right in the very center of Madrid. Check in and experience the charming area by the hotel and the Retiro Park, or enjoy a drink on the roof top terrace that offers nice views.
In the late afternoon or early evening, your group will be picked up at the hotel for a combined Tapas and Wine Tour: Visit two of Madrid's best tapas restaurants and a wine bar where you will enjoy Basque tapas and excellent wine from Ribera del Duero and Rioja.
In the morning, experience a number of Madrid's most important sights in Madrid's historic center. See the Plaza Mayor, the Sant Miguel Market, the Salamanca Quarter and the wonderful Retiro Park.
You will enjoy en exceptional lunch at the oldest restaurant in the World: El Botín was founded in the year 1725 - and the restaurant continues to serve some of the best traditional cuisine in Madrid.
In the afternoon, we will organize a visit to one of the city's museums. In 'Madrid's Golden Triangle' you will find three of the worlds best museums: El Prado, Thyssen-Bornemisza and Reina Sofia. Choose whether you prefer Picasso, Tizian or Velázquez and we will book the tickets.
In the morning pick-up at the hotel and transportation to a nice winery south of Madrid. The wine region D.O. Vinos de Madrid has experienced profound changes over the last decades, and many wineries have changed their strategy in order to focus on the production of high quality wine. Today, the wine region is among the best in Spain. After the cellar visit, you will taste three excellent red wines produced at the winery.
Lunch is served at one of our favorite restaurants in the area, that offer excellent views of Toledo.
You enter Toledo - City of Three Cultures. Toledo is a beautiful historic city, famous for its well-preserved medieval streets, one of the biggest cathedrals in Spain and paintings by the artest El Greco.
In the evening, we have organized a farewell dinner for the group at one of Madrid's very best restaurants
On the last day of the business trip to Madrid there will be time for the last shopping, a museum (Reina Sofia, Thyssen-Bornemisza or San Fernando) or Real Madrid's stadium.
Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabéu stadium is among the biggest in the world and the Museum offers interactive videos of the most important prizes won by the club.
Another option is another of Madrid's three world-class museums: El Prado with works by for example El Greco, Goya, Titian and Rubens. The Reina Sofía Museum known for its modern art, especially Pablo Picasso's unique Guernica painting and the Thyssen-Bornemisza with Spanish and Italian renaissance painting.
Late afternoon, we have arranged a private transfer that will take you to the Barajas Airport.
