Stroll along Maò (Menorca’s capital) and its old quarter. Visit the capital`s 18th –Century monuments while you learn about Menorca`s history. Explore Ciutadella town and several stunning and untouched caves and beaches.We start our tour at the Capital, Mao, where you will visit a graceful stone stairway (Placa Espanya), the 16th-Century Arc de Sant Roc (the only remaining of the medieval walls that once surrounded the old city), the beautiful Placa de la Constitucio and Santa Maria Church, among others.
Our next stop is the fantastic Cap de Favaritx, a black-and-white striped lighthouse, where you can admire the terrific views over the cost and have a nice walk through the impressive cliff.
Carry on to Monte del Toro, the highest point on Menorca, which offers wonderful views of the whole island. Visit the 17th –Century Augustine Monastery and its pretty little church.
We continue to Ferrieres town, well known for its narrow, slopping streets and ancient whitewashed houses. Admire Placa Espanya, its mains square, the town hall and the 18-Cenutry Sant Bartomeu Church.
See Ciutadella, an attractive town with a picturesque port and an engaging old quarter. Stroll along its main square and admire the town hall, the 18th –Century Palau Torresaura, the Gothic-style Cathedral and many more charming churches and palaces.
We will stop at a delightful restaurant where you can try typical Mediterranean food accompanied with local wine.
To end the tour, we will take you to one of the most popular coves in the island, Cala Turqueta, and unspoiled beach with fine white sand located between wooded limestone and beautiful cliffs.
